I’ve been wanting to visit Hadrian’s Wall for a while now. We were originally supposed to cross this off the list with the Wall Run, but that didn’t happen for various reasons. Hadrian’s Wall used to run from coast to coast, creating a protective barrier for the Roman Empire against the “barbarians” to the north. It used to be over 20 feet tall, but now all that remains are sections of wall about waist high. It’s still a sight to be seen, if you’re in the area.

The weather has been especially nice these last few weeks, and is expected to stay this way for a few more, so hoping for some good days out in the weeks to come.
