{National Trust} Rainy Sunday in the Midlands

Here’s the thing about UK weather sometimes.. In the morning it can be all sorts of dreary, wet, rainy and all-together miserable.. But then the clouds break around lunch time and you’re left with a pleasant, sunny, warm and all-together awesome afternoon. We encountered one of these days a few weeks ago. The morning (spent in Stratford-upon-Avon) was one of the most miserable rainy mornings we’ve experienced.. but as soon as we left to explore some nearby National Trust properties, the weather cleared up to some amazing sunshine.

I don’t have too much to say about the properties that aren’t better summed up by the individual NT property websites (linked in the titles below) or that can be discovered through a quick Wikipedia search. Though I will say that the gardens in these properties are really inspiring. It makes me me wish I was home so that I can start putting dahlia borders and wildflowers in my yard.
