Minh and I were “given” a bonus trip home to California back in October. My work needed me around to help with a project, and because it was going to be a long stay, they agreed for Minh to come as well.
While we were out there, we took a day trip with our friends Chris and Biagia out to the Getty Villa in Malibu. I had been before when Minh took me to celebrate our one year anniversary of dating life (back in May 2009), but its always nice to go look at art and act like kids.

In an effort to conserve water, nearly all the fountains were turned off and drained of water. Normally this would have been fine, but Chris had something very special in mind for this day (exactly one month ago today)…
Of course she said yes! I’m so happy for both of them and excited for the life that they’ll be building together.
Being home really broke up the last few months of our life abroad, since we only have a few weeks back in the UK before moving home for good. Can’t wait to be back I’m California permanently and spending time with my family and friends!
