Hi everyone! It’s been a while since I’ve posted to the blog (since New Year’s Day, to be exact). Over the last four months, I’ve had tugs here and there to get back to the blog, but never anything that really stuck, and really nothing special to write about. To get me motivated to get back on the blogging wagon, I did a quick Google search for daily writing prompts and stumbled upon a PDF from 2013 from The Daily Post. This then led me to the blog, which offers up a daily writing prompt, for those days when you just have no idea what to write about. Figured I’d give this a try for a little while, just to get back into the swing of things.. and we’ll see how it goes…
1 MAY 2015: From a famous writer or celebrity, to a WordPress.com blogger or someone close to you — who would you like to be your biographer?
My life, to date, has been pretty standard, which I’m not going to complain about in the least. I was a conscientious kid who did well in school, went to college, got a job, got married, and here I am – trudging through the daily grind and finding happiness in the little things. Life has been very low in drama – I tend to live by the book and go with the flow. And I am actually very grateful that my life is pretty consistent and predictable. The simple things in life are often what makes it worth while… Life is an adventure, but it doesn’t always have to be chaotic.

Enjoy the simple things.. like walking the dog on a sunny California day!
So.. if it came to writing a biography of my life, which I don’t think anyone would be interested in reading, I would have to find someone that can put a little humor in a fairly standard and predictable life. I think it would be great to just capture little snippets of conversations and turn them into short comic strips. Maybe Stephan Pastis or Bill Amend. Those two comic strips – Pearls before Swine and FoxTrot, respectively – are two of my favorites and are completely hilarious!

EAT YOUR VEGETABLES! This celery was the best I’d ever had!!!
