HELLO SPRING!
A few weeks ago, I took my parents down to the Flower Fields in Carlsbad to see the ranunculus in bloom. I’d never been before and have been meaning to head down there. It was such a beautiful cloudless day, and the fields were covered in rows of colorful flowers.
My parents had a good time getting out of the house..
Care for a tractor ride, anyone?

If you have time this season, you should head down soon. The Flower Fields has a limited open season, which this year ends on May 10. Might be a good way to spend Mothers’ Day.. or to pick up a bouquet of beautiful ranunculus (ranunculi??) for your mom!
Ranunculus are one of my favorite flowers.. too bad the season is so short.
